An affiliate network is essentially a market place which webmasters use to connect with big companies online. Companies offer these webmasters (affiliates) a cut of the profit from the sales that the webmasters sends from his/her website.

Usually, the webmaster/affiliate will place a banner advertisement on their site promoting a company’s product or service.
